Rustem Pasha (1500-1561) was a prominent Ottoman statesman and military commander who served as the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. He was born in Bosnia, and rose through the ranks of the Ottoman military and administration to become one of the most powerful men in the empire.
